Abstract

An algorithm for a rotation invariant tem- plate matching method based on correlation value cir- cular projection target tracking algorithm is proposed in this paper. This algorithm projects the model im- age as circular and gets the radius and the sum of the same radius pixel value. In order to improve the match- ing speed and get the illumination invariance, the tra- ditional correlation method is combined with circular projection algorithm. This method computes the corre- lation value between model image radius pixel sum and the scene image radius pixel sum and gets the maximal that so that it gets the matching result. The experi- mental results show that this algorithm has good rotate invariance, real-time and high precision property.
