The chairman introduced the session pointing out its main goals, which were to: • discuss different visions of architectural frameworks and coding patterns with Ada 2005 • and formulate proposals and roadmaps to facilitate adoption or secondary standards. Afterwards, the three papers [1][2][3] included in this session were briefly introduced by their authors followed by the discussion on the issues proposed in them.
