The paper generalizes the trends of the active Internet and Web technologies. The main components of the active Web computing are presented: Web services, functional XML and semantic Web. A monitoring and replication paradigm is proposed in the area of Web security. The approach is based on cooperation of active components both on Web and Internet level: security Web services and data flow of active Internet packets.
