The transmission capacity and quality of transmitted image still an important parameters for the most hiding techniques in digital image transmission in private communication systems. In this paper we propose Modification of Spatial-domain Hiding Method for (Color/Gray) in (color) Images hiding. In this method, the cover image (CI) is partitioned into number of squares blocks of equal sizes (m x m) completely covering the image. The researching and replacing stages of the cover image pixel (CIP) with the pixel of hiding image (PHI) at different sizes of CI and hiding image (HI) each are achieved. Using the software program of the proposed method and threshold value ( TH I ), the original hiding image (OHI) is extracted. The perceptual transparency by using PSNR testing is evaluated. Also the capacity of extracted Image related to the CI is presented. Finally, the proposed method satisfied good results of a hiding capacity and perceptual transparency for (hiding of color image in color cover & hiding of gray image in color cover).
