Grid computing technologies enable large-scale aggregation and sharing of resources via wide-area networks. In this paper, we addressed information gathering and focused on providing a domain-based model and its dynamic version for network information measurement using Network Weather Service (NWS) on Grid computing environments. We used the Ganglia and NWS tools to monitor resource status and net- work-related information, respectively. This paper proposed a dynamic domain-based network informa- tion model that can provide the actual value of network bandwidth and preserve the advantage of previous model.
