In the context of the increasing number of interactive web applications (Web 2.0, Semantic Web), this paper spotlights some of the discussion and research work from different fields concerning the interaction concept and tries to relate the dimensions to web applications. After a short examination of the different approaches, some ideas of modeling interaction for further discussion and research are presented.
