Abstract

In the paper, we design and implement a simple architecture to supporting statistical computing for novice or professional statisticians executing computing and analyzing using wired/wireless device, such as Notebook, PDA, PDA phone, or Java enabled cell-phone, that with embedded browser or e-mail and without any statistical software or tools. Users can submit their statistical program (SAS in this prototype) via various familiarized user interfaces to backend server and get the response immediately. It is believable that the environment is useful for users who need statistical tools. The environment can tie other tools for supporting various specialties E-/M- science.
