Abstract

Application quality is a team effort, and requires a complex combination of IT skills and roles. Nobody reasonable would dispute this notion, yet surprisingly, all too many IT organizations attempt to implement and assure quality in isolation. Ensuring the appropriate level of collaboration is a key IT management challenge. Software productivity tools and well-defined processes can help create an environment that facilitates collaboration. The paper examines desirable features of the solution supporting collaborative environment for quality.
