Abstract

By referring to orthodox communication theories, this research has examined the relationships between new medium, the Internet, and its audience, the Internet surfers, in an attempt to design and implement effective e-commerce strategies based on surfers' communication needs and behabiors on the Internet that allows both uni- and bi-directional flow of information.
