Abstract

A common PC database, with a dash of Visual Basic code, results in improved office article filing management for faculty trying to control their personal collection of printed journal articles, URLs, and conference handouts. Outlined are the problems inherent in personal storage as well as the features of the suggested database approach that can make collection management more palatable.
