Abstract

The Optimized Link State Protocol (OLSR) routing protocol, is an optimization of link state protocols designed for mobile adhoc networks. OLSR is suitable for large and dense adhoc networks. For the learning routes process, it uses the flooding technique based on multipoint relays (MPR) which make it possible to reach all nodes in the network with a limited number of broadcasts. OLSR evaluates links with neighbour nodes before including them in the neighbouring MPR base. We aim to improve the process of MPR election based on mobility that can be estimated periodically during the exchange of HELLO messages.
