Abstract

The LSB substitution and LSB matching method are to embed the secret data into the least-significant-bits of the pixel values in a cover image. However, the flexible operations were not offered in the past studies. In order to enhance the operations, we propose a scheme to make the secret embedding more flexible. Our scheme is upon the observation of MSB controller to embed one bit secret data in a pixel. As the experimental results, it turns out that our method gains the same high quality when compared to the secret embedding methods, such as LSB and LSB matching manners. Besides, the histogram detection for the secret data embedding is efficiently deterred in our proposed scheme.
