Abstract

Modeling multivariable LTI systems using generalized Orthonormal basis functions requires the determination of optimal poles of these bases. This paper develops a new iterative method of poles optimization for the generalized Orthonormal Base using the Gauss-Newton algorithm and the state space representation of these bases.
