Abstract

In this paper, we have focused on using the bolero.net communityin the semantic web and grid environment. Bolero.net represents acommunity with the ambitious initiatives to standardise world trademessaging and to create a community for more efficientinternational trade. Bolero.net uses a protocol calledboleroXML that represents a set of standard electronicdocuments with the aim of facilitating interoperability amongst themembers of the electronic international trade chain. The idea ofmaking the boleroXML standard electronic documents inthe form of an OWL ontology is shown in this paper. The main goalof using an ontology of the boleroXML documents is tomoderate this kind of web-based community. The way this ontology isconnected with web services, as well as web agents, is shownthrough the use of ebXML Registry and Repository.
