Abstract

Designing instruction can be supported by introducing the designer into the steps to be taken that go from analysis through design and development to implementation and evaluation. Recent approaches emphasise the tasks to be carried out, irrespective of the order in which these take place. This article addresses the support needed to carry out such tasks. An information system is suggested and a needs analysis has been carried out in order to create the framework of the system and to fill the system with task-relevant information as well.
