Abstract

The idea of presenting undergraduates' awareness, usage and other various issues regarding mobile phone multimedia application will be the paper's main agenda and talking point. The first section of this paper will give a succinct introduction to today's mobile phone technology in terms of how it become a major phenomenon among undergraduates (youth) and later turn into an item of commercial rivalries between its various developers. Most of the pioneering countries in Europe and Japan have caught the fever but some third world countries such as India or Malaysia, the impact is slightly moderate although the latter is beginning to enhance. Reviews on an assortment of related mobile phone studies will also be featured and the analysis on the factors or and processes that affect the youths' owning, using, accessing the multimedia and non-multimedia based mobile phone are in the following section. So, this paper is expected to give benefits to everyone who wishes to learn more about the ever growing technology mobile phone applications and its factors together with its impacts towards young people.
