In the last year Universities have developed systems for providing information and online services to their users. In most of the cases these services are realized by different systems and are limited to information about courses, lectures, timetable and logistic. Moreover, universities are promoting many initiatives and are developing many systems supporting e-learning and e-work. This paper discusses the design and implementation issues of a system in which many services are integrated to realize a Virtual University platform able to support students with mobile learning services.
