Abstract

A trustworthy protocol specification is a specification of a system of communicating entities that meets the security and privacy requirements of the services to be provided. In this paper, we extend an existing synthesis technique introduced earlier by the author [1] to include the synthesis of trustworthiness requirements starting from the specification of these requirements at the service level. Both the required service and the synthesized protocol specifications are specified using the communicating finite state machine model. The application of the proposed synthesis technique to a given service is also presented.
