Complex accessing structures like indices are a major aspect of centralized database for efficient record searching. We have proposed a multi-key index model, which enables efficient query execution in distributed database management system. In this paper we present algorithms that make our index model more adaptive in distributed environment because adaptability in a dynamic environment, space utilization, and operation speed are important criteria in assessing a multi-key file structure.
