Abstract

This paper describes a high performance scheme of synchronization with simplified algorithm and numerical operations. Analog numerical operation has been introduced, and a set of parallel matched filters has been applied to realize the scheme. An enhanced wideband Spread Spectrum (SS) modulation system was designed for a prototype hardware providing a type of Software Defined Radio (SDR) with an MPU and a FPGA. A new scheme of synchronization has proved effectively fast and reliable operation and reduction of circuit complexity and power consumption.
