Accessing the Internet from cellular phones has become a widespread phenomenon, and regional information can now be accessed on a cellular phone anytime. However, it is difficult to obtain regional information by a simple operation. For example, in most information distribution systems, we cannot obtain regional information relevant to a specific user's preferences and current location. To solve this problem, we propose a method to find regional information relevant to each user by utilizing both the user's preferences and movements records. Moreover, based on the proposed method, we implement a regional information distribution system for cellular phones using the Global Positioning System.
