Abstract

This paper presents a technique of synchronous vibration minimization for Active Magnetic Bearings AMBs Using feed forward strategy; minimization signals are generated with adaptive Synchronous vibration control algorithm. The output of the adaptive Synchronous Vibration Controller ASVC is injected at the summing junction of the magnetic bearing feedback control loop. The amplitude and phase of the ASVC signal is well adjusted in order to attenuate the synchronous vibration of the rotor displacements or power amplifier currents. The experimental results verify that the proposed approach is significantly minimized the amplitude of synchronous vibration in the magnetic bearing systems.
