Abstract

This paper proposes the concept and implementation of Explicitly Embedded Advertisement (EEA), a non-intrusive advertisement embedded in the multimedia contents. This concept thrives on the fact that typical multimedia contents can be linked to further information like advertisement for a particular vendor. A new service platform is proposed enabling automatic generation of interactive EEA. For example, interactive embedded advertisement on audio products can be automatically generated when user clicks on the tape recorder used by M. Phelps to discover the new mission at the beginning of each episode of the serial TV "Mission : Impossible".
