Packet loss is a major consideration factor, especially in real-time applications. Since it cannot be avoided, its effect has to be minimized. We propose an end-to-end approach, analyzing different transmission strategies and error concealment methods to minimize image degradation at the receiver. The proposed system uses pixel shuffling techniques for packet transmission and median filtering concealment techniques for diminishing the impact produced by losses.
