This paper presents to sequences of orthogonal polynomials then uses them to find the numerical definite integral and the numerical solution of the initial value problem of ordinary differential equation. These orthogonal polynomials are on the interval [0, 1] with respect to the weight functions w(x) = 1 + x2 and w(x)=1/1+x2. Some examples will be given.
