We address how product line modelling can be supported by aspects at the architectural level and discuss the different uses and effects these aspects have on the product configuration. We show that aspects can be useful both for modularising the architecture and the feature configuration of a product line. We describe a product line resolution process based on feature composition and show how this can be implemented in configuration and weaving transformations.
