Abstract

There are many types of network security measures. One way of doing so is via biometrics authentication, which is a method utilized by matching an individual's genetic traits or behavioral characteristics with data that have previously been captured, enrolled into a template and stored in a system database or on a token. Biometrics authentication is the concept of identifying oneself by something that you know, something that you have, or something that you are. In this paper, several important aspects of biometrics authentication are to be discussed.
