Abstract

The importance of Quality of Service (QoS) provisioning has become one of the central issues of 3G/4G mobile network design and analysis. Mobile multimedia applications have high demands in terms of available network resources, equipment design and QoS performances. The challenging task for research activities is the creation of adaptive application QoS protocol suit in order to obtain optimal QoS performance. In this paper we identify key adaptation issues and propose the architectural framework for application level QoS adaptation.
