Abstract

A first-order approximation model for the magneto-thermal problem is presented with reference to a particular heating application. The model is based on an equivalent thermal network. The linkage between thermal field and magnetic field and between thermal and electromagnetic parameters are take into account considering the skin-effect and the dependence of the impressed heat on frequency and on temperature. The model is also integrated by means of a numerical approach in order to solve both the problem. Some results related to a specific example are shown.
