Abstract

The appearance of faults in a complex control system is unavoidable, especially for the systems onboard aircraft intended to perform a quick detection, identification and diagnosis of failures in order to avoid disasters. In this paper a fuzzy FDI system for an execution element of a B747 longitudinal flight control system (LFCS) is illustrated.
