Abstract

In this paper, a system of boundary-value-problem modelling the free convection of a micropolar fluid in a vertical channel was solved by the homotopy-perturbation method (HPM). The HPM solution obtained by a computer algebra system is compared against the exact solution. The truncated HPM series solution was shown to agree well with the exact solution.
