Abstract

In this paper we compare two different blind source separation algorithms, Degenerate Unmixing Estimation Technique (DUET) and Frequency-Domain Independent Component Analysis (FDICA). Even though both algorithms are known to be powerful in separating signals, each has superior to another in a specific condition. We investigate advantages and disadvantages of each algorithm, and evaluate their performances in anechoic and echoic conditions.
