In this paper, we present the convergence evaluation of DAD-MPR flooding protocol through simulation. DAD-MPR flooding protocol is the autoconfiguration protocol we proposed for OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing protocol) [1]. This autoconfiguration protocol comprises two parts: the first part [2] describes the autoconfiguration rules for OLSR nodes with single interfaces, and the second part [3] describes the autoconfiguration rules to handle OLSR nodes with multiple interfaces. In our simulation, the interesting performance metrics include the latency of address duplication detection and therefore, the convergence of the DAD-MPR flooding protocol.
