Topology control with individual node transmission power adjustment in wireless sensor networks has shown to be effective in increasing network capacity and prolonging network lifetime. In this paper, we focus on the strong minimum power restricted topology control problem, which to adjust the limited transmission power for each sensor node to find a power assignment to reserve strong connectivity and achieve minimum energy cost in the wireless sensor network. We proposed three heuristics based on the problem. Simulation results have demonstrated the efficiency of three heuristics.
