With the development and adoption of digital technologies in learning, there is an increasingly large amount of learner-generated material being stored or recorded. This learner-generated material could contain important learning resources. This paper presents our research in reusing collaborative knowledge generated in a knowledge building process as learning objects. We describe the implementation and evaluation of AnnForum --- a system which can dynamically annotate and classify collaborative knowledge and detect messages which are relevant to current discussion topics and present them to the learners. With the help of AnnForum, a new knowledge building process can be built, based upon previous accumulated knowledge instead of starting from scratch.
