Multi-hop wireless networks are dynamically forming networks of radio equipped nodes. Most of the early work has been motivated by scenarios where nodes are mobile, leading to both theoretical results for the capacity of the network [1] and to practical proposals for routing protocols [2]. With the recent deployment of communitywireless networks, more specific attention has been given to multi-hop wireless networks composed of both mobile mesh clients and more static mesh routers which form the backbone of the wireless mesh and provide the clients with access to the Internet [3].
