Abstract

ICT training activities for rural areas can be complemented by online points of reference that SMEs can access to find relevant information and educational resources. To this direction, we present the design and implementation of the Rural-eGov Observatory, which aims to serve as an online reference point for SMEs in five European regions. The Observatory collects, describes and categorizes training resources and e-government services that may prove useful to rural SMEs.
