Regulation. The mention of the word often sends shivers down the spines of business executives and IT professionals. Yet, a recent rash of crippling worms and viruses, coupled with the continued threat of a serious cyber attack on our information infrastructure, has once again elevated the notion of federally mandated security regulation to the forefront.
