Trust and reputation play important role in ensuring good interactions among agents. However, existing trust models are ineffective to provide adequate reaction to quick change in the agent’s behavior, and may suffer from the strategically altering behavior. To cope with such strategic behavior of the agent, this paper presents a dynamic trust model. In this paper, we introduce the dynamic trust metric coping with strategically altering and oscillating behaviors of agent providing services. Further, we give an effective approach to filter out inaccurate reports of witness, including the witness who strategically alters behavior in providing reports. Theoretic analysis and simulation show that, comparing with existing trust models, our model is more effective to cope with strategic change in the behavior of agent.
