Having multiple wireless interfaces in single multihomed mobile node provides some capabilities in term of path redundancy, load balancing, and available aggregate bandwidth. In this paper, we propose a scheme for mobility management to enable cooperation of multiple wireless interfaces by taking into account the Quality of Service (QoS) parameters both from network and application. This scheme support vertical handoff that enables user to seamlessly redirect the communication during mid-session. In network where congestion is common, it is also preferred to have packets distributed over available network interfaces instead of only using single interface for the entire flow. This scheme tries to balance the load while avoiding the out-of-order packet problem by exploiting the merit of both packet-based and flow-based load balancing.
