The paradigm of network applications is changed from traditional client/server approach to peer-to-peer (P2P) approach. One typical concepts of P2P system provides the resource sharing, and expands the flexibility to distribute resource accesses reducing the centralized server accesses. This flexibility of P2P system easily expands to be utilized the file distribution system of Web server. Current mechanism of contents distribution of Web server obeys the random manner; however, the distribution of web pages does not depend on the random manner but on the power law manner. In this paper, we will propose a new file distribution mechanism using P2P protocol based on Chord algorithm to decrease the total performance for the weighted file access with power law distribution. Our proposed distribution mechanism correctly obey the access frequency of Web pages, that is frequently accessed Web pages distribute wide spread corresponding web servers. Finally, we discuss the appropriate metrics of the protocol performance.
