This paper describes a model for detecting all types of separators on a document page and combining the results towards obtaining elements clusters on every document image page. The separators are determined by using various methods as for example the Delaunay triangulation. The physical layouts of the documents are always hard to extract, but determining the simplest separators found in most documents is the starting point for correct layout detection.
