Abstract

The paper entitled ''An extreme case of the generalized optimal discriminant transformation and its application to face recognition'' [X.J. Wu, J.P. Lu, J.Y. Yang, S.T. Wang, J. Kittler, An extreme case of the generalized optimal discriminant transformation and its application to face recognition, Neurocomputing 70(4-6) (2007) 828-834] contains several flaws. The main one is corrected in this note.
