The Maximum Entropy Model was applied to obtain the optimal traffic assignment in a road network when incomplete information was available. Comparison with the User Equilibrium Method shows that unbiased guesses of the traffic assignment can be obtained from the Maximum Entropy Model by adding logic constraints. The Maximum Entropy Model can perform as a faster way than the traditional User Equilibrium Method.
