Abstract

This paper is to compare the dynamic and static approaches towards the analysis of the length equation, which is the most fundamental and important equation in the theory of software science. In addition to intuition, our empirical results give further support to the claim that dynamic approach is more appropriate than the static approach towards the theory of software science.
