Abstract

Tackling multi-criteria decision making problems with AHP, judgements of decision makers are represented by positive reciprocal matrices with ratio judgements representing the preference of a decision maker. In this paper, we are going to propose a new method for aggregating individual ratio judgments into a group consensus. With the aggregation we proposed, the objective weight of each opinion is determined automatically in such a way that it is larger if the opinion is closer to the consensus and lesser otherwise. An iterative procedure is proposed to reach the consensus.
