Relevance and context are two concepts which are highly valuable when trying to refine information synthesis. This paper represents the earlier stages of a larger project that tries to find solutions intended to improve medical care by developing a prototype and applying relevance mechanisms in order to save important interaction time and allow for the integration of new or alternative sources of information. This proposal aims at developing a solution to be deployed within the clinical diagnosis process and is intended to have its strength in leveraging system use by acting as an assistant to facilitate information enabled decision making.
