Abstract

ABSTRACT In this poster proposal we present the three-year project "Cultural intelligence as a strategic resource" that started on April first 2008. In collaboration with Danish Multinationals (MNCs) we investigate how to strengthen Danish executives' and employees' cultural encounters in China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Japan. In this poster proposal, we focus on the concept of cultural intelligence. We list a number of questions concerning its practical applications and discuss how this concept might help us unfold, in an empirical study, what makes collaboration and synergy work in diverse global organizations with multicultural teams (MCT).
