Abstract

The trend in software development community is to provide web-applications with bigger quality and lower price at the same time. This way maintenance of software becomes a major issue, which could be facilitated by provision of solutions and technologies to develop more dynamic web-applications. However, currently existing solutions, based on Java technology have static and monolithic nature. This paper shows an approach to overcome this and build dynamic web-applications. Two emerging and promising Java based technologies -- Spring and OSGI, are used to provide an architectural framework that enables modular structure of applications, which may be modified during runtime.
