Abstract

Our study discusses the use of goal-oriented methodologies to analyze and design e-health systems. By considering stakeholders' goals in an organization, goal-oriented methodologies complement the main-stream, technology-oriented methodologies. Our study will coarsely demonstrate two goal-oriented modeling techniques, i* and NFR. Further, we will extend the goal-oriented modeling techniques to analyze and mitigate role-based conflicts of interest in health-care. The result will suggest an innovative approach to model conflicts of interest systematically and integrate concerns about conflicts of interest in system design.
